charities + nonprofits

We are lucky.  The Tri-Cities have a plethora of nonprofits that contribute to the betterment of our communities. Nonprofits that serve the underserved.  Nonprofits that enrich access to technology in our public schools.  Nonprofits that provide additional resources to taxpayers.

Much of the work they do is behind the scenes and these organizations seldom get the recognition they deserve because of their humble and apathetic nature.

But every nonprofit in the area could use your help. Volunteer. Donate. Give. However you help, it’s important that you simply help in whichever way best fits your ability to do so.

The nonprofit organizations listed below are just a small tasting; for a full list and links to each one’s website with more information, visit FamiliesOnTheFox.com/charities-nonprofits.

Currently we support children in the state of Illinois but our goal is to grow into other states as well. It is also our goal to never have to turn a family down who applies for our grant.
