Privately commissioned, the owners of this building hired local artist, Joseph Gagnepain, to complete this traditional Mexican mural.

Found on the wall of HM Hair Bar, Brett Whitacre is a self-taught artist who created this piece to bring beauty to our community through this colorful, mood-enhancing mural with a positive message.

FOX VALLEY JEWISH NEIGHBORS MOSAIC
GENEVA | 121 S. 3rd Street
The design includes children’s drawings, Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors history and culture, and Geneva architecture from local artist Danielle Casali.

BATAVIA | 160 S. Water Street
In honor of their 10-Year Anniversary, Water Street Studios is partnering local artists with 10 local nonprofits to create outdoor, public art murals that illustrate the programs and services that the nonprofit offers back to the community.
UNITY GATEWAY
AURORA | 210 E. Galena Blvd.
The mural design combines a quilt analogy to show that Aurora is a city of many people and cultures combined together. It also takes elements of art nouveau, Prairie style, and art deco architecture from downtown Aurora such as seen on The Mayan and Keystone buildings.

Aurora artist Sam Cervantes completed his mural of a large pair of colorful wings in the fall of 2018 representing those that we have loved and lost. #hopewingsaurora
WORLD'S GREATEST ARTISTS
NAPERVILLE | 5th Ave. and Center St
67-foot wide, 12-foot tall mural depicts 36 famous artists working on their well-known pieces at the Naperville Art League Building.

Mural depicting evolution of travel, including the DuPage River, Old Plank Road, the railroad, and the Lima Lima flight team.

PILLARS OF THE COMMUNITY

Mural depicting significant people, places and events.
PARADE OF THE CENTURY
NAPERVILLE | 223 S. Main Street (alleyway between Gap & Talbot's)
Mural shows a parade across time beginning in 1900 (which is in sepia tone) and continuing through the end of the 20th century (where the mural switches to black and white).
STREAMING HISTORY
NAPERVILLE | Water Street Riverwalk
"Streaming History" depicts activity along the DuPage River, in the surrounding countryside and the center of town, from pre-settlement to the 21st Century.
THE GREATEST CONCERTO
NAPERVILLE | Central Park Place at Central Park
Mural honoring the Naperville Municipal Band and its fans.
YORKTOWN CENTER BUTTERFLY
LOMBARD | Yorktown Center (next to Amazing Lash Studio)
The mural is a creative twist on artist Kelsey’s famous angel wings, showcasing a butterfly that represents the transformation of inner-strength and beauty. #YorktownButterfly
